About
I have always loved teaching because allows me to invent creative ways to explain concepts to my students. I taught my first violin student when I was in the 8th grade and completed my first Suzuki Teacher Training course when she was still in college. Since graduating with my Bachelor of Arts in Music in 2017, I have continued to teach. In 2018, I introduced the We Imagine Music series with her first book Vio’s Violin. This series allows me to share fun illustrated stories about violin technique with young musicians all over the world!

I love giving a student the tools they need to create something beautiful. It is a joy to watch their eyes sparkle as they accomplish their goals. Teaching sparks my creativity and compels me to invent new ways of explaining concepts to fit the way each student learns.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I meet a potential new student, I like to start with a trial lesson to be sure we are a good fit for one another. Finding the correct teacher can make all the difference in the world. In this trial lesson I am able to get a sense of the student's personal goals as well as their current playing level. This allows me to create a plan for how we can move forward together!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in music as well as Suzuki Teacher training.
