About
I have been playing guitar for 42
years. I have studied with instructors for 20 years, and professors at the highest levels, culminating with my degree in Music Performance(cum laude) from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.
After Berklee, I resided in Nashville, TN for 18 years, resulting in three independently released CD’s under my band. Steam Boars. I’ve been the bandleader and songwriter for 95% of the songs released, and have two new singles being released in March 2020. I will now focus on releasing groups of singles and have four more coming in July 2020.
I am now also teaching at the School of Rock in west Des Moines, IA, but still teaching privately
I am happy to provide references and I will teach you the right way to learn your instrument, how to write a great song, and even cover some music theory, depending on your playing level. If playing guitar is your life’s dream, contact me. I will teach you how to develop your own style and your voice.
