Jake Freeman Music
About
I have been studying music and the guitar for 20 years. I teach a variety of musical styles ranging from wooden folk to country twang to southern blues to mountain bluegrass to swinging jazz. In addition to the six string standard guitar, I teach the banjo and pedal steel guitar. I can help you hone you songwriting skills, better understand composition and deepen your understanding of harmony. In addition to teaching I am also an active performer and songwriter. I have performed and recorded music in New York City, Nashville, Portland, Muscle Shoals and New Orleans.
I love sharing my knowledge and excitement about music and creativity with others.
