Lessons are fun! I teach acoustic styles. You will learn proper playing technique, note & tab reading,strumming, fingerpicking,accompaniment styles & solos, theory,chords galore, songs, songs, songs, folk, pop, jazz, blues. I'm excellent with children and teens, and love helping students form their first chords and read their first notes. I also have a fondness, and take pride in watching my young women students venture with confidence onto the stage of the male-dominated guitar world. I can also help experienced students climb out of their old ruts. Sometimes all we old pickers need is: 1) help identifying our goals 2) help focusing our practice routine 3) new and challenging material.
