What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Depending on the already developed skill of the student. It could be working on hand and finger dexterity and strength. Or strumming techniques, arpeggios, scales, and comfortability with the instrument. If your comfortable the way you play it. You're doing it right.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm entirely self taught, and my dad got me started originally at 6 years old. I have played long hours, daily, for 22 years now

How did you get started teaching?
After teaching little cousins and family/friends of mine. I wanted to continue teaching others!
What types of students have you worked with?
Mostly family and friends, along with their family. But each person sought a different style. I am well acquainted with most styles. I also have taught how to Tuvan Throat Sing. I do offer lessons on that as well
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I played the Yellowpine Harmonica Festival in 2021 and had a great time!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
There are very few active musicians who play in this style and we all support each other.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I am here to provide a service for them and their guardians. I feel that I am to adhere to their needs and expectations of me.
