I majored in piano and music in college. I have been teaching piano for over 10 years. I am a very patient teacher.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process is to meet the student at my home studio or at their home. If they are beginners, I start them out with the very basics using a primer level lesson and theory book. If the student has already been playing the piano, we would start by seeing what the already know and then go from there. If they already have books, I will work with their books.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started taking piano lessons at the age of 6 and continued lessons through college. I majored in music and piano in college. I have been teaching beginners (children and adults) for over 10 years now.
How did you get started teaching?
My college instructor suggested that I teach.
