I enjoy working with each of my students and my goal as a teacher is to encourage them to be their best even if they move on to play a different instrument.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I believe in working with each individual student to find what their interests are and what motivates. I believe in encouraging my students to be their best at what they do.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken private lessons throughout high school and college. I received a piano scholarship at Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. I have taught private lessons all through high school, college and presently.

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching back when I was in high school. I had several families approach me who expressed interest in piano lessons for their son/daughter. I continued to teach when I was in college and on through present day.
