PIANO LESSONS
About
I will be teaching piano in a way that is hopefully not like the traditional "boring piano teacher". I am 21 years old and love music! I hope to teach my students the concepts behind the music they are playing. I think most current methods of learning to play the piano are outdated and provide the student with very little understanding of music. I hope to show the student that playing and even writing music on the piano is not as hard as it may seem! Reach me at 16306088731 if interested.
I love my job because I enjoy teaching people things and seeing them learn. I think seeing a student progress after a short amount of time is one of the coolest things to witness. I feel like I have been blessed with valuable information from some of the best musicians around the world and would like to share it.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will first start by asking my students if they have any experience with the piano and why they are wanting to learn. After understanding their reasoning for learning I will then go 1 of 2 routes. 1. Teaching them to play other peoples music, read music, as most traditional teachers would do. Or 2. Teach them in a non-tradional manner that will provide them with a greater understanding of the music. ( 2 is more fun and better in the long run,in my opinion, however I understand why some may want to just stick to the traditional methods.)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
