What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a teacher who can adjust to your style of music and also challenge you in different styles as well!
Be vocal about your needs as a student to get the best possible results from your future instructor!
Look at the teacher's credentials! Do they have a form of degree or certification? Do they have plenty of experience in their field?
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
1. What are my overall goals for lessons?
2. Do I have the proper materials to begin?
3. How much time outside of the lesson am I willing to work on this new skill?
