Coco's Kitchen Shindig Catering
About
My niche is "Elevated Comfort Food" with an occasional healthy twist, not always easy, not always possible, but I get it in when I can. I'm also, a Food Photographer, so I can give photography lessons and advice as well. Food is an Art just like Dance or Music, I see my Chef Life as an extension of myself as an Artist. I get SOOO Excited! when I come up with a New Recipe, everything from Recipe Development to shopping for ingredients. My Kitchen is a Huge Canvas where I get to Create whatever I want. I would Love for my Students to feel that same excitement when they're in the Kitchen. The only Rules are your Rules, let's Play.

What I enjoy the Most is putting my own spin and twist on Classic Comfort Food Staples, and seeing the looks on people's faces when they try my Dishes.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
There are a couple of questions I need to ask, before we start cooking. First, I need to know if they have any Knife skills? Second, what's your cooking level?, Beginner: "I can make a grilled cheese sandwich, Intermediate: "I can make chili, Advanced: "I can bake a whole chicken". There is no right or wrong answer BTW, I just need to know what I'm working with, it helps me to be a better teacher.
