If you'd like to enjoy foods that are often not available here in the US, then look no further!
Although I specialize mostly in North African cuisine, Tunisian, Morrocan, and Libyan. I do have many clients that lean more toward tasty healthy food.. this means food cooked without preservatives, additives, learning how to make fresh sauces from scratch (Mexican, Chinese, Italian)...I also have many clients that are vegetarian but like to be full when they finish eating :-) and have a taste for really good food, in this case, my extensive knowledge of international cuisine makes it so easy to teach delicious, fresh, clean satisfying meals.
Cooking is a passion that has many benefits. I mostly cook to destress and put my attention entirely on the creative aspect, but at the same time, I love perfecting traditional dishes, learning how to make them as authentic as possible. I love to travel the world, but when I'm in Chicago, I still am able to do this while making exotic meals.
Cooking is easy if you know the basics, and of course, have a great teacher. My students are often incredibly surprised at how easy creating a 4-course meal that is worthy of a 5-star restaurant, is to make. The satisfaction and sense of accomplishment on their face is always such a pleasure to witness.
