About
FAME Center (Fortson Arts and Music Education), founded in 2017 and based in Chicago and surrounding areas, is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing equitable access to arts education. It offers a range of classes and lessons in music, art, creative writing, drama, and computer coding, alongside music therapy for mental health promotion. The center serves both children and adults, striving to foster creativity and nurture human growth through the arts. FAME Center is proud to be a Black-owned and women-owned venture, contributing to the enrichment of the South Loop community and beyond.
