I've been involved with music all of my life. I have a bachelor degree in music from Northeastern University. I've taught at various schools as well as private lessons throughout the years. Some of my students have gone off the college and continues to study music. Some of my students are now music ministers at their local church. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will first introduce them to the 7 letters of music. Then I will explain and show them all the notes on the piano. Next I will intorduce to them how to play the major scales and how to construct chords. I will then begin teaching them how to read and play songs from the music book.
