Hi ! I'm Mike from Mike's Brass & Woodwind, located in Johnsburg, IL. I am a graduate of VanderCook college of music, with my master's degree in music education. We have been in business since 1984 and have a full staff of degreed professional teachers that have been on staff with me for many years.We teach children through adults, beginners through advanced . I have taught music and have been in the music field for over thirty years. I love that every day I can help shape someone into a true musician and show them the enjoyment that comes from music. Music is the one talent that you can do for the rest of your life and never have to answer to anyone but yourself.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We are a school of music and treat every student as an individual. All of our teachers have their degrees in music.
When you walk through our doors, we will treat you with respect. First, every student's ability is assessed. Lessons are geared to progress at each indivdual student's pace.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
All of our lessons are $22.00 per half hour. Payment for the entire month of lessons is required within the first two weeks of the month.
