About
I am very passionate about music, and the piano specifically! I am also a people person and love working with kids and adults and watching them develop their pianistic skills! I love putting on recitals and having everyone perform for each other and allowing my students to hear new tunes that they may not have heard otherwise, and can someday learn. I also incorporate singing into my recitals, including solos and group numbers!
I enjoy seeing kids/adults develop confidence in such a unique way and playing the piano is a skill that they can enjoy for years to come! It's such a great outlet, whether you're in a good or a bad mood. Music soothes the soul!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I have the student come in for a free evaluation to assess their level from beginner to advanced and see if we would be a good fit. I then make a recommendation as to how many minutes I think the lesson should be each week. I discuss what type of music the student likes and his/her goals, as well as my goals for the student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance & Pedagogy
A Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance & Pedagogy
