My teaching approach is technical ability, control of the guitar, use of alternate picking, building speed and accuracy, finger picking (Flamenco & Classical). Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following: First lesson we go over what you know, where you want to be as a guitar player and then custom build your guitar program to suite your needs and style.

A guitar lesson with me might entail the following: We first review last weeks lesson, then I teach you the next step in our custom designed program for you in increments that works best for you, we review this weeks lesson together until you're comfortable and then I give you that lesson written out to take home and practice for next weeks lesson.

The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following: An ideal guitar student is willing to learn, comes to lessons prepared, practices and has fun with the songs they want me to teach them.
