Hi! I am Dr. Er-Hsuan Li who currently serve as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Music at the Pacific Lutheran University. I earned a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in piano performance at University of Colorado Boulder, and also hold degrees from Northwestern University and Manhattan School of Music. I have had 10 years of teaching experience and taught students from beginning to advanced and professional levels.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically I would like to start with scheduling one trial lesson first. After understanding the student's current level and goal, we will then discuss about the plan for the upcoming lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I recently earned my Doctor of Musical Arts degree in piano performance at University of Colorado Boulder. I also held Bachelor and Master's degrees in piano performance from Manhattan School of Music and Northwestern University.

Yes, I have a standard pricing system for my lessons. However, it depends on the location, the length of each lesson (range 30-60 minutes), as well as the level of the student.

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching during my studies in NYC and soon realized that it is very satisfying for me to see my students grow.

I have worked with students from a wide range of ages, from younger kids, pre-college students, college students, to adult beginners and professionals.
