My name is Alexia DelGiudice Bigari. I received my bachelor’s degree from The Juilliard School and my master’s degree from Northwestern University. I have been teaching for the past 6 years, both in Italy and the USA.
I am very personable and love sharing music with others. :)
I love seeing the excitement the student feels when they are learning and improving. Music is so powerful and I can’t imagine my life without it.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed my undergraduate degree at the Juilliard School in Viola performance and my master’s degree from Northwestern University in viola performance.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$60 an hour.
$30 for a half hour.
What types of students have you worked with?
Between the age of 7-16. I have also taught students with learning disabilities, & realize that each student learns and improves at their own rate.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was very proud of a former 7 y/o student. She was learning to read music so quickly and was practicing every day.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would suggest meeting with the teacher first to establish goals.
