About
Hello! My name is Anna Berntson, and I recently earned my Master's degree from University of Michigan studying under Aaron Berofsky. I graduated from Oberlin Conservatory in 2012 where I studied with David Bowlin. In addition to my studies, I currently substitute with Ann Arbor, Lansing, and Jackson symphonies. As of spring 2017, I am Suzuki certified. Over the past few years, I have performed in masterclasses for artists such as Almita Vamos, Lawrence Dutton, and Sir Simon Rattle. I am passionate about helping all of my students to reach their full potential on their instruments, and have had students from beginner through adult. I offer a nurturing, positive, and supportive environment for all students to learn.
