Phillips Violin/Viola Studio

I have been teaching for over twenty years, continuously taking training and doing observations during that time. My goal is to be able to help students development efficient, relaxed technique so they can express themselves freely on their instrument. I love seeing students able to express themselves. I especially love it when they own it-the music is not from what I told them to do but they are infusing their playing with their own musical ideas. I love it, too, when they can problem solve. My goal is to ultimately put myself out of of a job by teaching them how to figure things out for themselves!
