Hi, my name is Paul Carey from Naperville, Illinois, a large suburb west of Chicago. I have taught private piano and harp lessons for many years and am also a well-known choral music composer, with performances of my music across six continents (darn, there isn’t a choir in Antarctica that I know of). I mostly teach piano and both pedal and lever harp in my home studio in Naperville, IL (some online lessons) and also teach music theory and composition. Some of my young students have won piano competitions, but I also teach aspiring adult amateurs as well. I am very patient and my students progress quite well. It’s always fun and rewarding to see that! If you are ready, I can turn you into a strong musician, no problem.
