About

M.M., Illinois State University

B.A., UNC-Wilmington

Certified as a Childbloom Guitar Director

I have over thirty years teaching experience. Currently, I serve on the faculty at Bradley Universiover, Millikin University and Illinois Central College. Formerly I taught at Heartland Community College. I am the only Childbloom Director/teacher in the state of Illinois, specializing in teaching children ages 5 and up. In addition, I am taking on students who wish to pursue examinations through the Royal Conservatory of Music. While this institution is in Toronto, all coursework may be done at the students locale.

My students develop a love for music and a thorough training in the finer areas of technique and musical expression. There are many performances opportunities available as the students become seasoned and fearless performers through interaction with groups and as individuals.
