What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to trailor each lesson to the student's interests, experience level, and age. During the course of our lesson we'll talk about what music inspires you to play, explore the techniques used in the song, and (for kids and kid-like adults) play some silly games to reinforce concepts.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
With professional experience that spans genres, including Gospel, Top 40, Rock, and R&B, Kianna has versatility and a style that stands out no matter the assignment.
Kianna has traveled all over the world playing for live music production companies (Windish Music, el-live), touring artists/bands (Delta Rae, Hello Weekend), fashion shows (SSoF), studio sessions (Zbonics), gospel choirs, and award shows (Woman Who Rock Nashville).
