About
Welcome! My teaching focuses on helping students thoroughly enjoy music by using their new skills. One of my goals is to give a broad foundation so students are able to advance their skills outside of our lesson time. I teach flute part time at a Chicago-area college, and also teach piano and flute privately. Both my undergrad and graduate degrees are in music, one from Wheaton College, and one from DePaul University. I am also certified as a Suzuki music teacher, however my preference is to mix this with traditional methods.
