I have taught piano to young students intermittently since 2010, but am currently a 7th grade language arts teacher with 8 years of classroom teaching experience. I studied Elementary Education at Illinois State with minors in Music (piano) and Italian Studies. Additionally, I am endorsed to teach music at the middle school level. My qualifications and passion for teaching makes for an exciting experience learning piano and basic music theory skills. Students can gain a love for music and learning a new instrument or honing their skills with any prior piano knowledge. I love providing an individualized approach for all students and helping them see all they can accomplish as a musician.
