Anderson Musik has been offering the finest in private music intstruction on Chicago's Northshore, since 1989.
We offer Guitar, Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello, Voice, Drums, Bass & all band instruments including Trumpet, Saxophone, Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, and French Horn lessons!
We are blessed to be able to bring the joy and beauty of music into the lives of our students on a daily basis.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, new students are welcomed with a free introductory lesson. We feature classically based programs that emphasize music reading skills that blossom into folk, rock, jazz, and classical musics as students become ready and desire.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All teachers at Anderson Musik are degreed and must have multiple years of instructional experience before becoming a part of the school staff.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We very much like to be able to tell our students/parents of our simple uniformly priced lesson programs. All teachers and lesson programs are prcied $360 for each 10-week semester-based session.
How did you get started teaching?
The owner and most of the teachers, in our experience, usually begin to express a love for teaching in their 20s and begin taking on students.
What types of students have you worked with?
Children, starting at 5 years old, Elementary, High School, College, and adult students right up to and including seniors are all welcome at Anderson school of music.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Our recitals are a highlight, and we look forward to the next big music event.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Take advantage of our free introductory lesson program, give yourself a chance to reflect and we will be here for you!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
> Are they able to get to our school, located in Northbrook/Deerfield are, on a regular basis?
> We offer 30/45/60 minute lessons priced proportionately, and students are welcome to consider these.
