We are primarily an academy and less of a store

The academy’s owner, Jessica Harris, has a Master of Music Education degree, so she has the qualifications to oversee lessons to ensure that students are receiving the best possible instruction

We do of course have a retail merchant license, and we do sell some music books and instruments, but we focus on stocking only what our teachers and students need

The Best Facilities

We have 15 spacious lesson rooms, all of which have extensive, professional-grade soundproofing

We have 2 comfortable waiting rooms with board games, coloring activities, books and kids’ magazines for waiting siblings. For parents, we have free WiFi, a large selection of magazines, and we have hot and cold UV filtered water available to all teachers, parents, and students.

We truly care about our instructors, and we strive to make the lesson experience as pleasant and convenient as possible for our teachers, students, and parents

Other Important Details

We have been in business since 2005, and we are constantly growing, mainly through client referrals. Any current student who refers a friend to us receives a free lesson

We have a large, free parking lot, and the academy’s convenient, east-side location makes it easy for parents to run errands or pick up food while kids are in lessons

We have 6 recitals every semester–recitals are held at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Bloomington, which features a large stage and a Steinway grand piano

We have an optional evaluation system in place to monitor student progress

Students from the academy often win many local competitions and receive high marks at ISSMA (Indiana State School Music Association) and other local and state-wide adjudications.
