About

The International Talent Academy (ITA) is a fast-growing non-profit educational organization whose mission is to provide internationally inspired performing and liberal arts programs to children and adults and promote awareness of earl brain development through our curriculum. ITA is dedicated to elevating performing arts and early childhood education to world-class standards, promote the arts education for the young children within our community, discover and support the young talents and give every child an opportunity to reach his or her full potential.

Tatyana Komarova, the founder of the International Talent Academy and the program designer has B.A. degrees in music, theater and M.A. in Exectuive Development for Public Services. In her programs she uses a study of classical theories and current research on correlation of performing & liberal arts and early brain development as well as over 25 years of teaching experience working with children and parents.

The uniqueness of the Academy is in our international curriculum, which is based on classical studies and contemporary research on early brain development, and developed for students who would like to be challenged.

Our exclusive and collaborative performing and liberal arts programs will help young children up to the age of 12 develop their brains and reach their full potential so they are able to thrive and excel in our advanced programs. The goal of the ITA is to alert parents so they do not lose the important years of children's growth, educate them about early brain development, and help children thrive as versatile, well-developed individuals who will succeed in any endeavor they choose to pursue.

Our Early Development Programs include music, theater, dance, show choir, etiquette, early reading/writing and train the brain programs for children ages 1-8. This advanced curriculum is be based on classical studies and contemporary research on early brain development.

Our Talent Development Programs offer beginning, intermediate and advanced students high-level private and group instruction in music, ballroom dance, show choir and theater, and the opportunity to participate in local and international competitions, concerts, and special events. Outstanding college and ITA graduates will have an opportunity to intern at the Academy as an instructor or teacher-in-training.

ITA, which was founded in 2006, currently holds programs at the Carmel Monon Community Center, Primrose & Montessori Schools, Carmel Churche, and other locations in the Greater Indianapolis area and services 300-400 students each year.

It is our goal to support and promote young talents. Music, Theater and Ballroom dance students have a chance to earn scholarships for advanced music and dance training; participation in local, national and international competitions & festivals; and an employment opportunity for the successful graduates to become faculty members of the Academy, in addition to internship opportunities for seniors and graduate students from local universities.

We tailor our curriculum to each child, help them to build confidence, social and communication skills and teach them high level technique in the performing arts! The most important outcome is to see how your students succeed and help them improve even more!

The education is tailored to the individual child and their specific needs despite often being in a group setting. The instructors challenge the kids in a healthy and fun way, which helps them develop their skills more quickly.

Make sure your and your teacher goals are the same as well as the standards. A good teacher, in my opinion, will give you a lot of constuctive critique and will lead you to improve on your skills in every lesson. A bad teacher will tell you 'you did a good job' and be done with working on your improvement.
