I enjoy being the guy that helps you connect the dots to your own personal path of playing your instrument. I custom taylor all my lessons to the individual because we all learn differently. I teach beginners to advanced and all ages. I have taught guitar for more than 5 years locally and played in area bands for the last 20 years. If you like popular rock music. I am your guy. That's what I do!
I enjoy passing on a skill I have worked my entire life at. I want to see music continue to flourish and I love watching people grow from learning.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
If you are a beginner I start by explaining the parts of the instrument and what they are called and what they do.
I teach the layout of the fretboard and how to change the first 2 to 3 chords back and forth. It's a very step by step methodical approach.
If you are a more advanced player I will evaluate where you are at with your playing and come up with a step by step plan to help you progress.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied at Music Tech of Minneapolis 1993 Guitar
I have played guitar for more than 30 years. I have gigged regionally for the past 20 and taught for more than 5.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I will teach half hour lessons for $30. Weekly is suggested to see quick improvement.
How did you get started teaching?
I was referred from a friend to a music store that was looking for teachers.
