My mom started teaching me piano when I was 5. Before too long, I began taking professional lessons. Now I enjoy quickly figuring out how to play a song that I like on Spotify. I've taught students previously and am excited to begin teaching again, whether that be a beginner or someone with more experience.
I really enjoy sharing my joy for piano and helping others learn how to play. It's a very rewarding gig.

Jason is very good at teaching piano in a way that fits each personality. He takes the time to explain each step and offers feedback in a helpful way. He listens to how each student learns best. He is patient and yet challenges his student in a way that both improves their skills and confidence as a piano player. I would highly recommend him!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My goal is to make a new student as comfortable as possible. I am a very patient teacher and will move at a pace that works for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've played piano since I was 5 and continue to play regularly now. I've also given lessons before and teach high school so I really enjoy and have a lot of experience at working with new students.
