What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Very different from the usual traditional lesson that follows a set path. My instructions depends on getting to know the student. You show me your talents and I show you what you can play. Each lesson is organic and tailored to the students practice week.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
After studying piano for 8 years, I auditioned for The Juilliard School Pre-College. I did not get in. Later a wise Juilliard piano teacher took me in. Just one year later, I won the audition and received nearly full scholarship. I call it the one year difference. The methods work. I have been teaching since I was 15 because of these methods and students lives playing the piano
