What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I HAVE A BACHELOR DEGREES IN HUMAN RESOURCE AND I MINOR IN MUSIC.
I am a professional pianist,singer specializing in Gospel, Jazz, Blues, R & B with a classical training background. I am also a pianist, recording artist, songwriter, speech professor & etiquette teacher. I utilize all these skills to help my students become stellar singers. I have a B.A in Arts & Science, M.A in Communication & Training and another M.A in Education & Curriculum.
Voice students can expect to improve week to week in their vocal technique. Every voice has a unique timbre; I teach students to release built up tension and apply foundational techniques in order to unlock their own individual sound. I can help any student to sing with freedom, confidence, and expression. Additionally, I provide my students with training on song selection, soundscapes, stage presence and career building tools.

MY STANDARD PRICING IS USUALLY BETWEEN $25.00 TO $45.00 FOR ONE HOUR,AND DEPENDING THE AGE OF THE STUDENT.. 30-minute Lessons
30-minute piano lessons are primarily recommended for children ages 7 or younger.
How did you get started teaching?
I STARTED TEACHING IN 1995 in Baltimore, Maryland. I started teaching out of my apartment. Then my home church allowed me to do piano lesson.

Jazz Education Network
JEN was formed in 2008 to help bring together the jazz arts community. It hosts an annual conference with concerts presented by students and professionals, a student jazz festival, workshops, research presentations and an exhibition area with manufacturers, retailers, schools and other jazz related organizations. JEN also offers many educational programs, from an outreach program, to mentoring and scholarships.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
