What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing the piano and flute as well as singing for many years. Piano performance began in 1984. Voice performance began in 1990. Flute performance began in 1994. I have been teaching all three since 1998. I have a bachelor's degree in music, piano proficiency. I specialize in sacred music.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Lessons are $20/half hour. Typical lessons are one half hour per week.
How did you get started teaching?
I was asked to teach an acquaintance who was aware of my performance ability.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with a wide variety ages, 7-99. Currently my oldest student is in her 50s. Younger students need to have a strong knowledge of right and left to begin piano.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Scheduling can be tricky for many teachers and students. A flexible schedule is helpful.
