What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Depending on each students learning goals, I have to adapt each lesson plan to fit. Usually, we start off with a lesson to gauge where they are in there ability, as well as discuss concrete goals. I also am interested in hearing what my student's interests are outside of Japanese!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Japanese Literature and Language from Indiana University. I also work for a Japanese company as an HR manager.
