Not only do I sincerely like kids, but I will sincerely like your kid. I am a laid back person who likes to have fun. I enjoy the individual and unique personality of each student! At the end of a lesson, it is my goal for students to walk away feeling like they are amazing and have done a good job. I especially enjoy the look on a student's face after they have mastered something difficult.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
New students receive an introductory lesson, with materials included. This is to ensure that #1 they will actually like piano lessons and #2 my teaching style is a good fit for them. After this they are placed in the Beginner Group where we have a lot of fun getting to learn about piano (the instrument, being a pianist, and general music theory).
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
30 years playing piano
7 years of teaching
B.A. in Psychology
