What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Upon initial contact we invite the client in for a tour of our facility as well as a free trial lesson to evaluate which program will be most appropriate for their age and skill level. After we determine the best path for the student they will work with a one on one instructor as well as interacting with other students to gain experience and enjoy the full potential of playing a musical instrument while learning leadership, team work and making new friends for life.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our instructors are experienced real working musicians. Our mission is to help the student acheive their highest potential.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We do, but it depends on which program is right for the student. We usually can discuss pricing after the appropriate program is determined for the student.
How did you get started teaching?
Our tenured staff has over 20 years of teaching experience. All of our instructors are trained in the School of Rock method which has been a proven success for thousands of aspiring students world wide.
What types of students have you worked with?
We work with children and adults of all ages and skill levels. We offer a variety of options to match the student to the best program to help them achieve the next step im their musical journey.
We have worked with students with physical and psycological conditions including but not limited to autistism and aspergers.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We host seasonal events in which gives our students the opportunity to perform in the communoty.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure that the chemistry is good with your potential teacher. Seek an instructor that has expeience in the genre you are interested in learning. We work dillogently to match our students with the right instructor.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Things to consider is the instructors experience and qualifications as well as musical interests and availibility.
