Welcome! I teach piano, acoustic guitar, and ukulele lessons for beginning students ages 8 to adult at my home studio in Overland Park. I've been teaching for three years, and in that time, I've helped dozens of students develop strong musical foundations while building confidence and life skills.

I offer a fun, structured, and individualized curriculum that focuses on learning the fundamentals in order to play songs. Your lessons will include note-reading, technique, chords, music theory, pop songs, classical repertoire, and more. I can also incorporate singing or songwriting if you're interested in exploring those topics. Some of my students have even recorded their original songs in my studio.

I do expect students to practice regularly, and I encourage you to see this as a learning opportunity in and of itself. I set my students up for successful practicing with clear expectations, weekly lesson notes, and a flexible and encouraging teaching style. I teach them to take an active role in their learning, both at home and in lessons.
