Guitar Lessons
About
Hi I have a passion for music and specifically the guitar. I've have played since I was a kid. My dad taught me, and I enjoy spreading the love of music by guitar. I can teach basic guitar, how to read guitar tab, bar chords, movable chords and some improvisation within the major and minor pinatonic scales, blues scales, And soloing. Never too early to start it too late to learn. Text me and I can show you the tools you need to get started. Have a song you want to learn. Message me the title and band/singer and we can go from there.
Playing covers is fun, playing your favorite songs. What i enjoy... Is creating something out of nothing. And then finally hearing a complete song that you created on your on. Nothing like hearing something you wrote yourself!

I have a passion for music and a love of the guitar. I mainly had friends who's kids wanted to learn, so I helped get them started. I've been playing since I was a kid. I still learn something new everyday, and it never gets old. So much fun and joy I get from playing guitar!
What types of students have you worked with?
My ten year old son, teenagers and adults.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love live music. Nothing like sitting back and enjoying a few local bands, rather it rock, blues, country or whatever genre.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Basically you'll have to be patient with yourself . People learn in different ways. Rather it's by sound, by tabulature or reading music. Hands on or watching a video. There's No wrong way, just keep trying. Your gonna get frustrated. Some days more than others, but when that happens take a break and come back the next day. Take a look at it from a fresh point of view.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Just explain what you want specifically out of it. Ask them if they can teach you your specific style and genre that you like. Have a song picked out specifically that you like to learn. If it's something you love and it means something to you, your gonna enjoy it that much more.
