I teach piano lessons to children ages 4-18 in my home studio located in Olathe, KS. I am Nationally Certified through MTNA with over 30 years of experience. I graduated from KSU with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy.
My students enjoy playing a wide variety of music styles from classical to pop. They participate in judged events each year and perform regularly in recitals and at nursing homes. In addition to private lessons, students have group lessons several times each year, where we play music games and perform for each other. Students also receive independent time each week to work on the iPad and digital piano.

We love Ms. Julie! My boys played in their school talent show after taking lessons for only 2 years. 3 people came up to me to ask who they take lessons from because they played so well and had such challenging music. She has inspired them to play harder than they thought they could. She also works with them to find music that they are excited to try (Star Wars, of course) :)

Mrs. Dean does a wonderful job with my kids. We have been with her for 4 years, and are very pleased with the musical progress our kids have made! Julie is very patient and never says a critical word. After hearing my kids play piano people often ask where we study. As a musician myself it was important to me that the kids get a well rounded education and learn to read music and learn music theory, which they definitely are getting.
