I am committed to providing students an excellent foundation so that they are able to not just play notes, but to play musically with fine technical skill and to read and understand music as well. I believe we all enjoy most what we are able to do competently.

Bachelors degree in music education. Extensive experience and participation in professional development.

Monthly tuition of $105 for 45 minute lessons.
What types of students have you worked with?
Beginners of all ages. Intermediate to early advanced students in elementary through high school. In addition to standard piano repertoire, I teach praise and worship chord reading to interested students.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be sure to meet the teacher, speak to other students if possible, ask for references if you wish, don't be afraid to ask questions!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What does the teacher expect from the student and parent outside of lessons. What does the teacher see as her strengths and weaknesses. What is your own commitment to the learning process? What are realistic expectations for progress.
