Seckman Music Studio
About
Seckman Music is Wichita's favorite place to learn music.
Our most favorite part of teaching is making connections with our kiddos and being an important part of their week. It's always the best when we see kids leaving out school with a smile plastered on their face.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We offer each of our students a FREE trial lesson. This way, we can get to know our students, and they get a feel for our school and how the lessons will go -- the lesson will be exactly what the student will experience once they start with us.
Each new student will receive a welcome packet from us that includes information about getting started, communication, and more!
If you feel we're the right lessons for your family, we'll get you into a lesson opening, and set up your family account (for communication and billing). We will also send an invoice for your first payment before starting lessons with us.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Seckman Music has been in Wichita since 2018. Zach Seckman, owner, holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Kansas State University and has been an active private teacher since 2011.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We offer the following programs:
-30 Minute Private Lessons in Piano, Guitar, or Drums: $112/month or $440/semester
-45 Minute Little Jammers Kids Band: $85/month or $335/semester
Scholarships are available! We don't want finances to be a determining factor of lessons, so we offer financial assitance for qualifying families. Contact us for more information on the scholarship.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Do your shopping! Not all teachers/studios are alike. As much as we wish we could take on every student who contacts us, the truth is, we may not be a match for each other and that is okay!
If you find a teacher/studio that you think works, try them out for a month and see what happens! You may end up liking them, or you may want to switch to someone different that matches your vibe.
