About
My performing and composing experience includes:
Over 20 years of professional guitar playing experience including European tours and all over the US a member of the US Army Band.
I played many styles from Big Band and Jazz combo to Top 40's and Rock and Roll. I also had the opportunity to write music for a wide variety of ensembles; from Brass Quintet to Concert Band.
My education credentials are:
BA on Jazz Guitar performance from the University of Miami.
Masters of Music from the University of South Carolina, and currently persuing a Doctors of Musical Arts in Composition at the Univerity of Kentucky.
Music is my passion and I take music education very seriously.
To teach music students with a real interest in learning brings me joy and satisfaction.
My professional experience and my personality prepared me for the chanllenges of music education and the learning process.
