I've had 8 years of private teaching experience and have worked with over 160 students to realize their passions with music. I'm a professional violinist originally from Louisville, KY. Here are a few brief aspects about me as an educator:

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Working with a new student is always an exciting process. It's important for the teacher to understand the student's goals with learning music and the violin. Whether that's learning a speicifc song/piece, getting to a certain level, or becoming a professional, it's essential for the teacher to understand early on to teach the student in the best way.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've studied at some of the top-notch music conservatories and professional training programs in America including the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, Cleveland Institute of Music, and the New World Symphony.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing depends on the students needs and length of lesson times. I always offer the first lesson for free.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching during my undergraduate degree in Cincinnati, Ohio.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with beginning, intermediate, advanced, and pre-professional musicians from ages 4-80 years old.
