I have been playing the piano since I was 5 years old, and teaching for most of my adult life. I believe everyone should be given the opportunity to learn to read music, and p!ay an instrument. I love teaching and have met so many wonderful students and their family. My goal for my students is that each one learn to read music so they are able to pick up a piece of music and learn to play it on their own.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I learn if the student has experience reading music and pkaying. If they have had lessons become I have them bring music they have worked on and music they would like to pkay. If they have never had lessons before, I have teaching and learning materials available.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Classically trained throughout High School and at Northwestern University.

Pricing is discussed with student and parents. I Feel I am reasonable and in line with other teachers.
