About

I work hard to make sure that students understand muscial concepts, chords, scales, melody and different styles of music so they can suceed in learning to play the guitar.

I enjoy teaching others how to play the guitar and seeing my students grow. I have been playing guitar for 13 years now and have an Associate's Degree in Audio Production.

Daniel is very knowledgeable in the guitar and he is good at working with what works for you. He is patient and takes the time to explain things that you may not understand. I am very happy to be working with him!

    Frequently asked questions

My typical process for working with a new student is to first understand what they know and what they are hoping to accomplish. I then go over the basics even if they are more advanced to review the fundamentals of the guitar. Then I give them easy pieces to start them off and challenging ones to push them to develop their skills. I teach them musical concepts, chords, scales etc. so they can learn different approaches, develop their style of playing and become a more creative and confident guitar player.

I have been playing guitar and taking lessons for 10+ years now and have taken lessons with a number of different guitar teachers so I understand how they teach different levels of students as well as different styles. I studied Performance at Berklee College of Music and have an Associate's Degree in Audio Production from Lyndon State College.

My standard pricing system for lessons are $25 per 30-minute lessons, $30 per 45 minute lessons and $40 for an hour (60 minutes) lesson.

I am new to teaching and have some experience but I have a passion for music and playing the guitar. I want to share my love of music and help others gain the skills they need to create their own styles of music.

I mostly work with beginners and am very patient when wokring with students to help them understand all the concepts of the guitar.

I was in a band that performed at Showcase Live. This is a small venue connected to Gillette Stadium. It seats about 150 people and has open area for another 50. I enjoyed the performance here because it has a nice sized audience and was set up in such as way that it was all about the performance.

I would suggest that a person find a guitar teacher who has a similar taste in music but who has a broad enough familiarity with other styles to be able to expose the student to different playing styles. I also would suggest looking for a teacher who is patient and who knows how to present material in a clear and easy way. Also someone who has studied a long time and with a variety of teachers, would be familiar with and understand different approaches to teaching.

Students should think about what styles, songs and musical concepts they want to learn. They should also think about whether they need any help getting specific sounds out of their amplifiers or guitars. They should also think about how much time and effort they are ready to commit to practicing the instrument and find a teacher that matches that level of focus.
