I loved my music lessons as a child and was very fortunate to have had many wonderful teachers who inspired me to choose a career in teaching music.
I earned my Music Education degree with honors from Rhode Island College. Since then I have spent almost 40 years teaching in a variety of settings including public and private schools, camps, children's theater, and private piano lessons. I also play and teach the accordion.
Keyboard for Kids is located in North Attleboro, at 104 North Washington Street. Piano and accordion lessons are usually a half hour a week. Informal performances are held at least twice per year, and in June there is a more formal recital with awards and trophies.
Teaching piano is my "calling" in life. I find every day interesting, and every lesson different from another.
Lynda Fish is an amazing teacher. My son began piano lessons 6 years ago and switched to the accordion about 2 years ago. My 2 younger children began lessons over the last 2 years. They enjoy the incentives to practice, as well as the casual coffee houses and yearly piano recitals.
