I've been playing guitar and bass for over 50 years and have lots of experience and education. Educated at Berklee College as well as Boston Conservatory where I did some teaching as well. Extensive experience as the Music Director of a record label for three decades. My resume includes about half a dozen Grammy winners and two Oscar winners. I myself showed up on the Billboard Charts on four separate occasions. I retired years ago but some of my students on tour wanted some instruction, so I started teaching them online. P.S. these are online only lessons. Can read music fluently as well as extensive music theory training.

Ive taken from several guitar teachers in the area, he was definitely the best. Besides rock I wanted to learn classical guitar and he was the only teacher I found that could do it.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I like to do an evaluation of what they know, where they want to get to and what skills and info they need to get there. I customize a lesson plan for each student

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Educated South Shore Conservatory, Berklee College of Music and Boston Conservatory. Verteran of many nation tours and hundreds of recording projects. I've been a staff guitarist/bassist for several record labels and procucers as well as Music Direcotor for several touring groups and projects

Generally charge $50 per hour.

How did you get started teaching?

Started teaching in high school and have continued throughout my career.

What types of students have you worked with?

Anything from beginners to professional. One of my current students went to the Royal Academy of London.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Make sure your teacher has a real education. Otherwise your being taught what worked for them instead of what most full time players know.
