About
I'm very enthusiastic and detail oriented! I'm dedicated to helping my students develop their piano technique and musicality while having fun throughout the process. I break down the process into small, manageable steps so that students know exactly what and how they can practice in the most effective way.
I absolutely love playing the piano, and it's a joy to share this with others. Music truly is a universal language, and one that we can take with us through both good and bad times.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to discuss the goals and interests of the new student. Figuring out their level of experience and hearing about what music they enjoy most is so important! Then I help pick out appropriate repertoire, and we work on developing piano technique and musicality.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I work as Company Pianist at the Pennsylvania Ballet, and have a wide variety of experience teaching and performing. I received my MM in Collaborative Piano from New England Conservatory, and my BM in Piano Performance from New York University.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching when I was fourteen, and my first student was a four year old girl in my neighborhood. I enjoyed and have taught students of all ages since then!
What types of students have you worked with?
I've taught students ranging from 4 years old to seniors, and ranging from begginers to advanced level. Each student is unique in their learning style, and I enjoy tailoring my lessons to best suit each individual.
