Rob Craft
About
Hi! My name is Rob and I'm a Berklee College of Music grad who's been teaching and performing around the greater Philadelphia area for the past ten years. I offer lessons teaching guitar, bass, piano, and trumpet and also teach music production, stage lighting design as well as music theory and ear training.
I teach at three different locations, Rockdale Music (Aston, PA), Music and Arts (Exton, PA), as well as Online/Facetime
All my lessons are tailored to the students interests, and cover all the fundamentals they'll need grow steadily as musicians.
Now that I've been teaching for ten years I've been fortunate to meet many amazing people and work with kids as they grow and mature and head to college. Past students have gone on to attend and graduate from The University of the Arts right here in Philadelphia and become professional musicians and teachers.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The most important thing is to determine a students goals. Some students just want to have fun and learn how to play a few chords and learn simple songs. Others want to dive deeper and learn to solo or jam with friends. And others still are striving to attend a college and become a professional. We need to know our goals before we do anything!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Music Performance, and I've played over 500 shows in Casino's clubs, weddings, private events located in Philadelphia, Boston, New Jersey Shore Points, New York, Washington D.C., Delaware and Baltimore. I play three instruments professionally and know what it takes to become an accomplished musician.
