Hi! My name is Jarelys Zamora and I've been playing for about 16 years. I was about 8 years old when I first was introduced to the violin and I've stuck by it ever since.
I am a graduate student at Boston University getting my master's in Music Education. That said, I am very passionate about music and teaching, so I decided to pursue a place where I can do both!
My teaching style is not the usual because I exclusively like to teach based on the students and their learning styles. As a music educator, it is vital for me that students enjoy playing and learning as much as I would like for them to be! Communication is the most important thing to me.
I like for the students to bring in music they'd like to play while still incorporating the usual Suzuki piece or method book.
Whether it be preparing for an audition or just simply looking to improve the student's skills, I am more than happy to help walk through the process together!
